1. The production line – a thorough preparation
Our quality control department determines strict guidelines regarding the cut, fabric and stitching of every single item.
They are then passed on to our international suppliers who produce samples we compare to the original guidelines.
Only when the garment’s stitching, fit, fabric and wearability have been approved and found to meet our customers’
high expectations, do we give the go-ahead for the production line.

2. The perfect fit – so you can look good and feel good
We want you to feel good and look good in your bonprix purchase so a comfortable fit and a long lifespan are essential. Extensive market research and continuous customer surveys help us to keep optimising our cuts and fits.
Our special busts were designed with all our technical expertise and are used by our suppliers all over the world to guarantee an optimal universal fit. Our “family” of bonprix busts make sure that garment measurements conform with guidelines so you always know exactly which size to order.
Because our busts can’t tell us if their clothes are comfortable or not, we also conduct testing on “live subjects”! Test volunteers grade their garments on wearability and lifespan. Only when the results are second to none is an item given the bonprix thumbs up!
However, we know that people come in all shapes and sizes and are aware that there is no such thing as the “standard” figure. That’s why we provide additional information such as whether the garment is a loose or close fit. And if you need more advice on which size or fit is best for you, simply consult one of our comprehensive sizing guides, for jeans or lingerie for example.
If you order an item that doesn’t fit then that’s not a problem either. Returning items is quick and easy and won’t cost you a penny.

3. Quality monitoring – attention to detail
Experts carry out continual quality checks in our factories and at laboratories all over the world. Every single step is monitored. Is the fabric flawless? Is the colour right? Is the stitching correct? Is the embroidered motif in the right place?
Every item undergoes a final inspection before it is shipped to our warehouses. Goods that are declined are taken out of the product range to be modified. Once the item arrives in our warehouses we carry out further spot checks and washing tests.

4. Laboratory testing – an objective opinion
We collaborate with a number of certified laboratories that monitor our products closely. All kinds of tests are carried out to guarantee that your garment still looks great and hasn’t faded after being washed over and over again. We also test our clothes for harmful substances according to strict international standards and even exceed the requirements set out in these guidelines. Not because we have to. Because we want to.

5. Customer feedback – constructive criticism
The top you ordered doesn’t fit? It’s too short? Too long? Too baggy? When you return something you can tell us why on the back of the returns form. That way, we can make things better next time round!
